Model Island Programme

Under the Model Island Programme, MOPA will seek to provide localised and holistic policy, capacity and infrastructure support to selected islands to sustainably manage plastics and waste. Initially, this programme will focus on three selected islands, providing support to build local capacity, develop and upgrade infrastructure, and assist in developing and implementing island waste management plans. MOPA will also work to connect private sector partners with the island community and council to further develop these facilities.
