The Plastic Reverse Logistics Project will select 160 popular eateries in the capital, for a regular collection service. Training and awareness, as well as necessary resources will be provided to stakeholders for uninterrupted transfer for safe disposal and recycling. Safe collection bags will be used to carry the waste on a daily basis. The project will be the first of its kind in the country, and MOPA hopes to engage stakeholders to roll out in late 2020. It is feature among the initial pilot projects of MOPA.
